Martha Teater has been in practice for over 30 years. She has worked in settings such as a free clinic, outpatient substance abuse treatment, medication-assisted treatment, integrated primary care, home health, and with the elderly. She has provided trainings in all 50 states and internationally on topics such as behavioral treatment of pain, COVID-related stress, compassion fatigue, diagnosis, substance use, trauma, and integrated care. She has coauthored 2 workbooks, "Treating Chronic Pain: Pill-Free Approaches to Move People From Hurt to Hope" and "Overcoming Compassion Fatigue: A Practical Resilience Workbook". After living in western North Carolina for 30 years, she now makes her home in Denver, Co.
