Working with The Shadow in Clinical Practice
$37.00

COURSE OVERVIEW
Swiss Psychologist, Carl Jung, claimed: “Neurosis is always a substitute for legitimate suffering”. Yet much of our education and training ignores this profound concept in typical clinical practice. This webinar is designed with three parts: understanding the shadow concept as it is found in literature, psychology, mythology, and religion; a survey of clinical applications from working with the shadow- concept; and finally, two case studies to help ground our clinical work in exposing and integrating the shadow for transformation and healing.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Recognize the psychological patterns and symptoms suggesting shadow phenomena should be addressed in our clinical interventions.
- Discuss the case studies and our individual applications of shadow-work.
- Explain the various ways that the concept of the shadow is approached in clinical practice.
