Amy Arnold-Sirmans, MS, LMHC

Amy Arnold-Sirmans is the owner of Being Unlimited Counseling Center, where the focus is understanding what motivates people to facilitate growth. Tapping into what drives people emotionally is the key to initiating change. As a therapist and coach, Amy allows people to empower themselves by instilling personal growth that is meaningful and long-lasting. Much of Amy’s work is with individuals and couples, helping them explore who they are and let go of the external validation that ends up draining their efforts. Working as a translator with couples when communication breaks down, Amy helps couples understand themselves, as well as one another’s a unique perspective and the part it plays within the relationship dynamic. Clients learn how to self-care without feeling selfish, as well as become empowered in life and embrace who they are, not what they aren’t.

Amy has been trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Childhood Traumatic Grief Therapy, and uses attachment and individual psychology theories in her practice of helping clients.
