Dr. Robert M. Cox, EdD, LCMHC, LCAS, CCS, CCMHC, NCC, ACS
Robert M. Cox, EdD, LCMHC, LCAS, CCS, CCMHC, NCC, ACS is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy at Pfeiffer University.
Dr. Cox directs the university counseling and wellness center and teaches graduate counseling courses. He provides counseling, consulting, training, and supervision with professional interests that include crisis intervention, trauma-informed services, substance-affected families, justice-affected systems, clinical supervision, and the role of counselors in community organizing.
Dr. Cox is a 2013 NBCC Minority Scholars Fellow who believes in the power of giving back to the community. (updated 13 January 2022)
