
Crystal J. Lockett-Thomas, LPC, NCC, BC-TMH
Crystal Lockett-Thomas is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Board-Certified Telemental Health Provider based in Texas. With extensive experience working with at-risk youth, she focuses on helping them develop healthy perspectives and build high emotional intelligence. Her work with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department, where she assisted male juvenile offenders who committed violent crimes in the process of building empathy and reducing recidivism, speaks volumes about her expertise in the field.
Crystal has a wealth of experience in a range of therapies and techniques, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused therapies, and Moral Reconation Therapy. She currently assists adolescents and adults in addressing a variety of mental health issues. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, working closely with her clients to empower them along their therapeutic journey and produce the most effective outcomes.
As Clinical Director, Crystal is responsible for providing support and training to other therapeutic staff in her private practice group to enhance the overall client experience. Her dedication to her clients is reflected in her commitment to the continuous professional development of her staff. Crystal is also an Adjunct Faculty member for the Collin College educational system, where she has the great privilege of helping shape the next generation of counselors.
