
Davis C. Vaughn LCSW
Davis Vaughn began working in the mental health field during his teenage years, volunteering with local Atlanta nonprofits and community organizations. Before and during his education, he worked and volunteered with dozens of organizations addressing substance abuse in Atlanta in the community and in direct practice. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia State University in 2013 he traveled to Turkey to study nonprofit leadership strategy and returned to complete a master’s degree in social work from Kennesaw State University in 2016.
Upon graduation, he began training at Parkaire Consultants, a clinic specializing in children and adults with complex neurological disorders. Davis has received extensive training in OCD, Tourette Disorder, and ADHD. He utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Process Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention Training, and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics, and trains new therapists in these interventions at Parkaire. Davis has spoken extensively within the community on issues related to substance abuse, parenting, anxiety, and child development. Currently, Davis sees clients individually and in groups while helping to direct a large multidisciplinary team at Parkaire.
