Dr. Josephine DeMarce

Dr. Josephine DeMarce is a skilled Licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience and expertise in her field. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biopsychology from Oberlin College in 1999 and went on to complete a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Tech in 2006.

Since 2012, Dr. DeMarce has been a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, providing both in-person and online training in Motivational Interviewing, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy for substance use disorders to individuals and organizations.

Currently employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs since 2005, Dr. DeMarce is also dedicated to research and program evaluation activities. Her focus includes evaluating dissemination and implementation efforts to help ensure that effective treatments and interventions are widely available to those who need them.
