The polyvagal theory describes ways in which our autonomic nervous system works as we interact with the world.
This presentation will use concepts from polyvagal theory to inform clinical practice. Three organizing principles will be addressed to help relate to your clients. Neuroception, co-regulation, and the autonomic hierarchy offer insights into client functioning.
In addition, knowledge about the states of ventral vagal activation, sympathetic activation, and dorsal vagal activation help with client conceptualization and for planning therapeutic interventions.
In this presentation, Dr. Brent Moore will help you increase your knowledge and awareness of practices that will enhance your work with clients immediately.
