Beth Rontal, LICSW

While supervising clinicians at a community mental health clinic for 11 years, Beth discovered a unique talent for teaching the skill most therapists dread. She helped develop the clinician’s first electronic documentation system that significantly reduced documentation time and errors, saving thousands of dollars and allowing clinicians to see more clients without working additional hours.

In 2012, Beth founded Documentation Wizard®. Her Misery and Mastery® trainings and documentation templates are now used worldwide. Her programs empower clinicians, reduce anxiety about documentation, and further professional integrity by systematically linking effective documentation to quality care, helping clinicians pass audits and protect income. Beth co-chairs the NASW Private Practice Shared Interest Group and maintains a clinical practice specializing in emotional eating and early mother loss. When she’s not empowering clinicians, she’s back to her theatrical roots, developing cabaret performances including her one-woman’s show, “My Mother’s Daughter”
