Overview:
Unhealed childhood wounds can trap us in codependency, harming our relationships. This survival mechanism is addictive and makes self-growth in and out of relationships difficult. Identifying and healing the root cause of codependency helps fill the missing pieces and cultivate a healthy, beautiful relationship where both parties can grow.
And as mental health professionals, it’s important to help clients understand the root causes of codependency and provide them with the tools they need to heal and move forward.
In this training, Dr. Shannon South will guide you through the process of helping your clients develop a stronger sense of self and create healthy relationships. You’ll learn how to identify and address the underlying issues that contribute to codependency, and gain practical strategies for supporting your clients in their healing journey.
By the end of this training, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to help your clients break free from codependency and create the healthy relationships they deserve. Don’t miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of codependency and strengthen your ability to support your clients on their path to healing.
Objectives:
- Define codependency and what is at the root of it.
- Discuss the symptoms and signs of codependency
- Discuss the ways to heal codependency and grow stronger because of it
- Explain the 4 stages of a healthy relationship
Course materials are only available to enrolled students.
