Dr. Leslie Korn

Leslie Korn, PhD, MPH, LMHC, ACS, FNTP, BCTMB, is a leading integrative medicine clinician and educator specializing in the use of nutritional, herbal, and culinary medicine to treat trauma, emotional distress, and chronic physical illness. Known for her dynamic, engaging style and sense of humor, she offers clients effective, natural alternatives to psychotropic medications.

Dr. Korn completed her graduate studies in psychiatry and public health at Harvard Medical School and spent over 25 years living and working in the jungle of Mexico, where she trained alongside traditional healers and directed a naturopathic clinic offering health, culinary, and fitness retreats. She is licensed and certified in nutritional therapy, mental health counseling, and bodywork modalities, including Polarity Therapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy, and medical massage, and is a nationally approved clinical supervisor.

She is the author of numerous influential books, including Rhythms of Recovery: Integrative Medicine for PTSD and Complex Trauma, The Brainbow Blueprint, Nutrition Essentials for Mental Health, The Good Mood Kitchen, Eat Right, Feel Right, Multicultural Counseling Workbook, and Natural Woman. A Fulbright scholar in herbal medicine and an NIH-funded mind-body medicine researcher, Dr. Korn was also a founding member of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

She currently serves as Research Director at the Center for World Indigenous Studies, where she collaborates with tribal communities to design integrative culinary and herbal medicine programs.
