Overview:
This interactive course on Organizational Management will tackle some of the most important topics revolving around the roles of Clinical Supervisors. This course will talk about the 3 various roles – administrative, clinical, and organizational – that a supervisor must take, the expectations and values that come with these roles, and the necessary steps to take to succeed in these roles.
A discussion on clinical supervision, steps for finding balance, and healthy ways to establish a strong relationship with clients is also here. In this webinar, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of organizational management and the legal and ethical issues surrounding it.
The information presented here will also discuss steps to take and precautions to remember to succeed in an administrative role. Detailed information on the differences and similarities between these three roles will also be learned here. Gaining the trust of the people you lead will be one of the primary things that will be tackled in this course. Detailed suggestions on what to do and what not to do to perform well in a given role – whether administrative, clinical, or organizational – will be given prime focus in this webinar.

Jenny Kirwin
Jenny M. Kirwin, MSW, LCSW, LCAS, CCS completed her BA in Psychology and Human Services; Masters of Social Work Degree with a concentration in Alcohol and Drugs from the University of Buffalo, NY. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist; and Certified Clinical Supervisor in NC. Jenny has been working as a consultant and clinical supervisor with almost 20 years in the field of mental health and substance abuse specializing in Co-Occurring Disorders. She began her career in North Carolina with the local Area Authority in Mental Health. Transitioning to the Women’s Program as a lead worker. Substance abuse quickly became her focus while obtaining LCAS and CCS with NCSAPPB. From Private Practice to DWI Programs, her background brings diverse experience to her clinical supervision services. Jenny has been married for 19 years and has 4 children, 2 dogs, 8 chickens, and a goldfish. She enjoys being outdoors with her family as well as homesteading and staying physically active.
