Overview:
In this transformative workshop, you’ll learn how to recognize and manage the inner saboteur and self-defeating defenses that keep your clients stuck in a cycle of denial. Dr. Grinstead will guide you through the philosophy of resistance and denial, providing you with the tools to intervene and disrupt your clients’ self-defeating patterns.
By understanding and normalizing denial, you’ll be better equipped to help your clients see it as a natural part of the human experience. You’ll also explore your own personal defenses, allowing you to be more effective in helping your clients identify and manage theirs. Through building a collaborative relationship with your clients, you’ll be able to implement the general steps of the Denial Management Interactional Process and directly deal with the twelve most common denial patterns.
With Dr. Grinstead’s expert guidance, you’ll develop the tools necessary to implement a successful treatment plan for teaching your clients strategic denial self-management skills. Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your knowledge and transform the lives of your clients!
