Dr. Janina Fisher
Dr. Janina Fisher is a distinguished clinical psychologist renowned for her expertise in trauma treatment. She is a former instructor at Harvard Medical School and an Advisory Board member of the Trauma Research Foundation founded by Dr. Bessel Van der Kolk.
Dr. Fisher’s impactful contributions to the field extend beyond her clinical practice. She has served as the President of the New England Society for the Treatment of Trauma and Dissociation, contributed as an EMDR International Association Credit Provider, and held the position of Assistant Educational Director at the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. Her exceptional ability to bridge neurobiological research with innovative trauma treatment methods has led her to lecture and teach nationally and internationally, enriching the understanding of trauma therapy.
