Dr. Randy Paterson is the Director of Changeways Clinic, one of Vancouver’s largest private psychotherapy facilities, which specializes in cognitive behaviour therapy for depression, anxiety, concerns related to emerging adulthood, and related issues. He is the author of The Assertiveness Workbook, How to be Miserable: 40 Strategies You Already Use, How to be Miserable in Your Twenties, Private Practice Made Simple, and Your Depression Map, and is co-author of Canada’s most widely-used group treatment protocol for depression and the online downloadable resource The Antidepressant Skills Workbook.
He has provided over 300 professional training workshops on topics including communication skills training, the treatment of depression, the psychotherapy process, diversity awareness, and private practice management. He also hosts a YouTube channel (PsychologySalon), providing information on a variety of psychology-related topics.
