Martha Teater, MA, LMFT, LPC, LCAS
Martha Teater is a highly experienced practitioner with over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health. She has worked in diverse settings such as outpatient substance abuse treatment, medication-assisted treatment, home health, and with the elderly. Martha has provided training in all 50 states and internationally and is highly regarded for her expertise in topics such as integrated care, trauma, substance use, and behavioral treatment of pain. She has co-authored two highly regarded workbooks, "Treating Chronic Pain: Pill-Free Approaches to Move People From Hurt to Hope" and "Overcoming Compassion Fatigue: A Practical Resilience Workbook." Martha is now based in Denver, having spent 30 years in western North Carolina. She has an exceptional reputation in her field and is regularly consulted by professionals seeking her insights and expertise. Martha's work is characterized by her compassionate approach, and she is highly regarded for her ability to help individuals work through complex issues. Her work has been instrumental in advancing the field of mental health, and she is recognized as an influential thought leader in the area of integrated care. In addition to her work as a practitioner, Martha is also a respected trainer and author.
