This session focuses on domains outlined by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), foundational to professional practice and ethics in the counseling field. These domains will be introduced via practice exam questions, rationales, and discussion surrounding the review of these key areas:

"Corey Pitts, a mental health therapist and certified clinical supervisor working in private practice in Charlotte, NC. He is also an Adjunct Instructor with the Division of Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at the UNC School of Medicine. Corey has been a therapist for 9 years. He specializes in the treatment and management of co-occurring disorders such as trauma, anxiety/depression, substance use, as well as aspects of various mood and personality disorders. He uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, as well as Solution Therapy approaches. He has worked in a wide array of treatment settings including community outreach, Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder, as well as Intensive Outpatient within hospital settings."
