Overview:
You’ve read the books, you’ve taken some introductory training, but your ACT interventions still don’t seem quite natural or intuitive. Many clinicians new to ACT start off with a basic set of skills that work well. . . when they work well, but if the interventions don’t go quite as planned they can leave you feeling stuck.Â
This training is perfect for any clinician who wants an additional set of ACT tools for their toolbox beyond the basics. This webinar will be entirely interactive and feature real experiential exercises, handouts, and sheets that you can use with clients. Each participant will receive a PDF packet of skills and instructions. Prior knowledge of ACT is recommended for this webinar, as core processes and definitions will not be covered.
Objectives:
- Conduct ACT interventions that target all 6 core processes at once.
- Explain core ACT concepts using easy to learn non-judgmental metaphors.
- Create their own ACT interventions specific to client needs.
Course materials are only available to enrolled students.
