Overview:
As mental health professionals, we all want to provide the best care for our clients who are grieving. But creating a successful treatment plan can be challenging without the right assessments & strategies.
In this comprehensive training, you’ll gain a foundational understanding of valuable grief assessments and how grief presents itself in each stage of life, from infants to older adults. You’ll learn how to identify concerning symptoms and signs of grief, and use diverse assessments to gain insight into your clients’ unique experiences.
With Tiffani’s expert guidance, you’ll leave with effective grief assessment tools and skills so you can create a well-rounded treatment plan tailored to your clients’ specific needs, helping them find the path towards healing & growth.
Objectives:
- Utilize appropriate assessment tools to uncover clinical concerns related to grief.
- Analyze the needs of bereaved children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults to create a more individualized treatment plan.

Tiffani Dilworth
Tiffani Dilworth, LPC, GCGS, is a psychotherapist and author with over a decade of experience specializing in PTSD, grief, and sexual trauma. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master's in Community Counseling from Oklahoma State University. Dilworth is a Fellow in Thanatology and a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist, recognized for her expertise in the field. Dilworth is passionate about sharing her knowledge and has worked with organizations, schools, universities, and corporations across the US to bring awareness to the grieving process and teach people how to live alongside their grief. She is an affiliate of PsychExperts & Associates, Inc, located in Baltimore, MD, and runs a private practice where she incorporates evidence-based and innovative treatment techniques into her work. In addition to her clinical work, Dilworth is an author and host of Managing My Grief Podcast. Her books, 11 Tools to Help Manage the Aftermath of Trauma and Types of Grief, draw on her clinical experience and provide readers with practical strategies for managing grief and trauma. Dilworth is a sought-after speaker on topics related to grief, PTSD, and sexual assault and is dedicated to helping individuals and communities heal and grow.
National Approvals
eCare BHI, as the accredited and approved sponsor, maintains responsibility for all the programs and must abide by each board’s continuing education guidelines.

Professional Counselors — The National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
