About Online Acceptance and Commitment Therapy CE Courses:
This online training provides an in-depth introduction to Acceptance & Commitment Therapy for mental health professionals seeking ACT continuing education credits. Developed from the groundbreaking work of Steven Hayes, Kirk Strosahl, and Kelly Wilson, ACT blends principles of mindfulness, contextual behavioral science, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to address a wide range of challenges, including anxiety disorders, OCD, eating disorders, and personality disorders.
The conversational course content offers insights into using the ACT model effectively in clinical settings and explores the core processes of ACT, which include defusion, present moment awareness, and committed action.
